We’re the husband and wife team behind Uniquely Rooted. We’re happiest outside exploring new places, beachcombing, searching for hidden treasures, and finding inspiration in nature.

Uniquely Rooted began with pieces of naturally weathered driftwood Dave discovered along the Washington coast and Kacie’s vision for what they could become. Together, we transform those one-of-a-kind finds into propagation stations, candle pieces, and nature-inspired designs for the home.

Kacie is the plant lover and vintage treasure hunter, while Dave sees the potential in every piece of driftwood and turns it into something completely original. We believe every piece already has a story, and we’re lucky enough to help write its next chapter.

Some of our favorite adventures have been shared with our boys as we’ve traveled across the country, visited national parks, and spent time outdoors. Those experiences left us craving ways to bring a little of that natural beauty indoors when we aren’t out exploring.

Our boys are also some of our biggest cheerleaders and helpers, always ready to encourage a new idea, lend a hand, and share in the excitement of what we’re creating together.

Everything we create or curate is chosen with purpose and the hope that it brings warmth, character, and a little more nature into your home.
